When I approach a child, he inspires in me two sentiments — tenderness for what he is and respect for what he may become.

Therapy for Children

Often young children have no context for their experiences, nor can they easily communicate what they perceive. It’s easy for adults to forget what this is like, and we may label what we perceive as problematic behavior: anxiety, sleep or anger issues, difficulty making friends, etc.

There are ways to create and foster space for a child that helps them feel seen for who they are. Through play, creativity, and movement, we can work together to build a sense of security and safety for the child to express their authenticity, learn new skills and move through the world with healthy boundaries. This can result in better ways for the child to express emotion, relate to others, recognize limits, and build self-esteem.

Call 415-909-9034 or email if you would like to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to discuss your concerns and hopes for therapy. We will then determine if working together will be a good fit for you.

To every child – I dream of a world where you can laugh, dance, sing, learn, live in peace and be happy.
